GVH: the system is continuously developed based on customer suggestions
Less than a month after the popular shopping list function, the online price monitoring system got another important function, in which customers can pre-set their favorite stores on the site, and they can also do this visually with the map filter. The new function can strengthen local micromarket competition, so it is expected that food prices will continue to fall, which will contribute to breaking down inflation – the Economic Competition Authority (GVH), which operates the system, told MTI on Thursday.
The working group developing the online price monitor, available at www.argyelo.gvh.hu, is constantly working on the further development of the system, taking into account consumer feedback.
Thanks to the latest development, a loophole in the price monitor has been closed, so retailers who have reduced the price of certain food products in only one or two of their stores can no longer benefit.
From now on, by using the visual map store filter function, it is also possible for customers to see the stores in their immediate vicinity on a map by entering their current location – by clicking on the icon for this purpose – and then compare the current daily prices of the products available in these stores.
