Gundel prize winners in 2023

The Hungarian Catering Industry Board held its traditional Awards Committee meeting on Friday – 1 day before Károly Gundel’s 140th birthday: this year, the profession decided for the 10th time on the Károly Gundel Award winners.

A kitüntetési bizottság

The member of the 18-member committee selected from among 9 candidates the person whom he found to be the most deserving of this year’s award, also known as the Kossuth Award of the profession.

The Awards Committee awarded the 2023 Károly Gundel Prize to Katalin Pintér (owner of Gerbeaud, Onyx and Émile restaurants) and Sándor Nyíri (co-owner of Arany Kaviár, MoskvaTér and Bistrotéttermek).
