From a Germany-based family business the GROHE has become the world's leading sanitary ware manufacturer within a century.

Year 2015 brought a historical turning point in the life of the company, when during one of Japan's largest European acquisition the LIXIL Corp. acquired the 87.5% stake of the GROHE, the European market leader. After the merger the German brand is now the world's largest manufacturer of sanitary ware and is present in 150 countries.
