Sáppusztai Pálinka Distillery has earned a big international recognition: their Yellow William’s Pear pálinka got a three-star rating at the 2025 Great Taste Awards, one of the food industry’s most prestigious competitions.

More than 14,000 entries were submitted to the competition held in the United Kingdom, and only 273 products received the highest rating of “exceptional taste experience”. Balaton cheese by Vaszolyi Sajtmanufaktúra, pumpkin seed oil by PerfektNatura and mangalica fat by Szomor Farm also got three stars.
