Agricultural Chamber: report the frost damages as soon as possible
Frost damages must be reported within 15 days from the date of the observation of the frost in order to achieve compensation – Győrffy Balázs, president of the National Agricultural Chamber (NAK) told M1 news channel on Friday.
The farmers indicate that up to half of this year's fruit crop may lost in the recent frosts – the Magyar Hírlap wrote on Friday referring to Csizmadia György vice-chairman of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organisation and Product Board. (MTI)
