Grando.hu: Internet sales may grow despite the crisis
Although retail sales in the EU Member States declined by 1.9 percent last year, due to the crisis, e-commerce grew by almost 10 percent in 2011 and a further increase is projected in the sector – told allegroup.hu Kft., operator of grando.hu online plaza to MTI.
The company referring to the research datas of GKIeNET, points out that the acceleration of the online retail sales can be observed in the Hungarian e-commerce sales as well: while four years ago, the online retail market turnover slightly exceeded 60 billion HUF, last year it was around 150 billion HUF and for 2012 a 175-180 billion HUF turnover is expected.
