The production of sweet corn is on full throttle in the canning factory of Kecskemét

A daily 40 to 50 trucks are carrying corn to the Kecskeméti Canning Ltd. to process the raw materials that will go to export. The number of employees doubled – increased to approximately 400 in these weeks, who produces a daily amount of 1.2 million boxes of sweet corn in three shifts.

Ábrahám Tibor, director of the company's factory told that this raw material is very good compared to last year's. The sunny,sometimes rainy weather was good for the development of the corn. About a quarter is grown in Bács-Kiskun county.
