Back to the Roots is a California company with a product that allows you to grow your own mushrooms: customers get a box full of soil and mushroom spores and all they need to do is watering it twice a day. After 7-10 days they will have 0.5 kg of fresh Oyster mushroom. One box yields crops 2-4 times and it only costs USD 20. What is more, it is a sustainable product as the soil inside the box is 100 percent recycled coffee grounds. Both consumers and the trade press speak of the product with great enthusiasm.
