Sándor Gottwald decorated

Sándor Gottwald, the well-known caterer from Tata was decorated with the Gold Cross of Merit on the occasion of the state’s foundation day.

He had started his career in Tatabánya in 1964 and opened Hotel Gottwald in 1992. The initial 15 rooms and small restaurant have now grown into a successful hotel complex, while related businesses also started operating: a confectionery in the centre of town, a farm in Ferencmajor and an increasingly successful winery. //
