LG to Showcase Google Cast-Compatible Hotel TVs at ISE
LG Electronics (LG) will showcase its hotel TVs with Google Cast integration at the 2025 Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) trade show. Google’s solution allows users to securely cast their favorite apps or streaming services directly to their hotel TVs from a smartphone, tablet or computer. The hotel TV segment is a key area of LG’s B2B business.
LG hotel TVs running webOS23 or later will be available with Google Cast with hotel-specific features starting January 10. Guest data is kept safe in every room, which is ensured by the system’s network isolation. To connect or start streaming, simply scan the QR code displayed on the TV screen with your smart device. This means that users do not need to provide any personal information or log in separately to access their favorite streaming service. The connection between the TV and your device will remain active for the duration of your stay at the hotel, and your connection history will be automatically deleted after you check out.
LG continues to expand its presence in the hospitality market, offering innovative and customizable solutions from hotel TVs to software to digital displays. LG was the first to introduce Apple AirPlay-compatible hotel TVs in 2023, and will make them available worldwide in 2024. And with Google Cast support, LG’s hotel TVs will be the first to be compatible with both Apple and Android’s wireless content sharing technology simultaneously. LG also puts hoteliers in control with its Pro:Centric management solution, allowing them to easily personalize the content on displays in rooms before guests arrive.
LG’s booth will model a hotel interior at ISE 2025, where visitors can experience firsthand how LG makes hotel stays memorable, in addition to LG’s hotel TVs with Google Cast.
