Mushroom consumption against vitamin D deficiency
Most people in our country have a low vitamin D level but mushroom consumption helps with its vitamin D intake – the National Chamber of Agriculture says. Twice of the annual 1-1.5 kg per person consumption of mushrooms would be ideal.
The Association of Home Pediatricians has highlighted the importance of replacing vitamin D on M1 news channel on 3 May, highlighting that this vitamin can be replaced almost exclusively artificially. The National Chamber of Agriculture agrees with the importance of vitamin D intake and points out that amongst the natural vitamin D sources, mushroom is one of the best, increasing its consumption the body’s vitamin D levels can be increased significantly.
