US food chain chain stops serving GMO food
Food companies around the U.S. are proactively working to label foods containing genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and in some cases do not sell them at all.
The Chipotle network removed all GMO sources from its foods, the company said April 26. The company still serves chicken and pork from animals raised on GMO feed. The move was the first for a large restaurant chain in the U.S. Chipotle in June 2013 was the first chain to outline which of its foods contained GMOs. (agrarszektor.hu)
