Global catering security index from DuPont

DuPont published a global catering security index – the company's statement says. The company entrusted the “Intelligence Unit” research group (EUI) of the Economist magazine with the development of the index. This indicator examines the factors behind food insecurity in 105 countries, and identifies the areas that need an improvement or a reform.

The interactive global catering security index is available online at the www.foodsecurityindex.eiu.com page. Among other things, it deals with the analysis of the main results with the definition of the 25 global indicator measuring the specific aspects of food affordability, accessibility, availability, nutritional value and food safety creating an interactive “heat map”, and showing detailed figures in all categories.
