GKI: Hungarian agricultural entrepreneurs are cautiously optimistic
Hungarian agricultural enterprises are looking forward to the new year with cautious confidence, expecting a favorable general food demand and for the favorable evolution of economic regulation, but the economic environment and the world market situation are judged pessimistic – according to the survey GKI Economic Research Co., commissioned by OTP Agrár.
According to the GKI, market expectations were controversial: while respondents were expecting a decline in demand for their own domestic and foreign markets, meanwhile, sales prices were expected to increase in each product group, especially for arable crops. (MTI)
