GKI: How many people are affected by the mandatory wage increases?
The February business survey of the GKI Gazdaságkutató Zrt. market researcher firm investigated the corporate effects of the minimum wage increase.
The bigger the company, the minimum wage increase affects the less employees. While in the case of businesses under 20 employees, 29 percent of the employees are on minimal wage. This number is 23 percent in the case of companies with 21-50 employees and 14 percent in case of companies with more than 250 employees. (Source: GKI)
