GKI: business confidence is on top, consumer confidence decreases
The business expectations were similarly favorable ten years ago, in early 2001 as in February 2011. Consumers remain relatively optimistic, but their expectations decline for the fourth month.
In the survey of GKI Economic Research Co., supported by the European Union; the GKI sentiment index, after the minus 6.3 points of January increased to minus 5.1 points in February. The business confidence index was 2.9 points, after the 0.5 points of the previous month, but the consumer confidence index decreased to minus 27.7 points from the minus 25.8 points of January – reports Világgazdaság Online.
