GKI: business expectations improved, consumer expectations declined
Compared to the July lows, the business expectations improved, while the consumer confidence index continued to decline in August, – GKI Economic Research Company’s survey shows. The survey was conducted with the support of the European Union..
As the resultof the opposing processes of the GKI-Erste sentiment index barely changed, just dropped from minus 3.9 points to minus 4.1 points. The business confidence index increased from 1.4 points to 2.2 points, the consumer confidence index decreased from minus 18.9 points to minus 21.9 points. (MTI)
