GfK Purchasing Power: Hungary backlogs the region
According to the Purchasing Power Study of GfK study in Hungary the per capita annual disposable annual income is 4,884 euros, the quarter of the Austrian value. The wealthiest country is Liechtenstein, while the poorest is Moldova and the least money to manage people.
Among the studied 42 European countries Hungary is currently on the 31st place on the list. While last year Hungary was on the level of the Baltic States, in term of purchasing power Croatia already overtook us. The ranking is led by Lichtenstein with 56,978 euros per capita purchasing power, the second is Norway with 32,037, while Switzerland is third is 31,666 euros per capita purchasing power. The laggard in Moldova with 1257 euros per year.
