GfK: Seven out of ten people would buy more online in exchange for free home delivery
Every second online order is delivered by a courier service. The first five incentive factors for online shopping focus on the discounts. Among them, home delivery has an utmost importance, according to the latest GfK Digital Connected Consumer Research 2017.
An important prerequisite for the further development of online commerce is the availability of adequate logistical services. The fast and most inexpensive delivery of goods is a basic requirement for consumers. According to the Digital Connected Consumer survey conducted by GfK in 2017, 72 percent of consumers aged 15-59 claim that they would buy more online if they could use a free home delivery service.
