GfK: Fewer children, on a higher level
According to the research of GfK Hungária; Nowadays, fewer and fewer children born, but children, will probably live on a much higher standard of living, than their parents. At the same time, parents spend more on their children.
A child's birth fundamentally changes the structure of the household budget: some spendings decrease, but new ones emerge. According to the measurements; one child consumes from 288 to 417 thousand HUF goods (food and durable consumer goods) per year. The broad interval can be explained with the number of children.
