GfK: The turnover of bakery products increase because of the price increases last year
Due to the rise in prices, the turnover of bakery products have increased by about one tenth last year. According to the GfK market research institute, a Hungarian households typically buys two kilograms of bread per 5-6 days, mainly in small stores of the domestic chains, or in small independent shops or in bakeries.
According to the forthcoming study of GfK, summarizing the trends of 2010-2011, more than two-third of last year’s revenue came from the sales of bread, rolls and crescent gives five percent, and other baked goods 10 percent. (MTI)
