GfK: the amount spent on Christmas sweets remains on last year's level
Last year 10.2 billion HUF, the year before almost 10.5 billion HUF was paid to Christmas sweets by domestic consumers. This year it is expected that the level of spending remains on this level – GfK Market Research informed MTI on Tuesday.
The season begins in early November on the Christmas confectionery market. According to the datas of GfK Market Research Company’s Household Panel, almost half of the amount from Santa Claus packages and hollow chocolates are sold in November and the other half in the first days of December.
