GfK: 135 billion HUF on clothing
In the first half of this year, 135 billion HUF was spent on clothing by the Hungarians, six percent less, compared to the previous year. Fewer people are buying clothes, they are also looking for lower priced products and waiting for discount actions.
According to the FashionScope study of GfK Hungária Market Research Institute; The purchasing habits suggest that the recession has not ended: the Hungarian households spending less for travel, clothing, education and culture as well.
Due to the decreasing purchasing power, the buyers spent about 8 percent less than in 2009 – reports Origo.
