Chestnut gastronomy in the café

Lucullus BT’s first chestnut tasting was held on the occasion to promote the starting chestnut season. The event was held at the café of the Uránia Movie Theater. The event’s premium partner was the chestnut products manufacturer Prima Maroni Kft..

“The Chestnut – is one of the world's most brilliant fruit” – said Schweickhardt György, pastry chef, who is the managing director of the family-owned Prima Maroni Kft. and dealing with chestnuts for about 35 years. “It is a nutritious and healthy fruit, its composition is close to the vegetables. It contains significant dietary fiber, B1, B2, B6, C, E vitamins, potassium, magnesium, iron, copper and phosphorus and its calorie content is low.” – added Schweickhardt György.
