April is a special month for luxury watch enthusiasts around the world, as the world’s largest watch salon (Geneva Watches and Wonders) and other major watch fairs are currently taking place in Switzerland. This year, Hungary will also join the international luxury watch market, as the Premium Watch & Pen Exhibition and Fair will be held in Budapest on April 13. The event will feature Hungarian watchmaking manufactories that create masterpieces worth 20,000–30,000 euros, as well as Hungarian Evolvens and Duna Óra. In addition, multi-million dollar collector’s items and special, early automatic watches will also be on display. Lovers of premium pens can also view the high-quality writing instruments of Pendors and Etelburg, handmade from ironwood, aircraft steel and precious metals.

The Premium Watch & Pen Exhibition and Fair will spotlight special timepieces and writing instruments. The fair will feature exclusive pieces as well as international and domestic brands, including collections that will debut at the event for the first time.

The fair will also feature brands that offer sophisticated yet affordable models. Exhibitors include the Hungarian Evolvens, which also designs limited and unique models, and Duna Óra, which will appear on the watch market in 2023. During the event, visitors will be able to view and purchase world-class novelties, multi-million collector’s items, or even the first automatic watches. In addition, pieces from domestic manufactories that create exclusive, special pieces will also be available.

Handcrafted, premium pens made of precious metals and 100-year-old wood

The event also has surprises in store for pen lovers. Hungarian-developed Pendors and Etelburg’s handmade, high-quality writing instruments made from ironwood, aircraft-grade aluminum, and precious metals elevate the writing experience to a new level. Each Pendors model is made using extreme materials such as bird feathers, diamond dust, seashells, volcanic rubber, or 100-year-old wood.

Visitors can gain insight into the artisanal heritage, the roots of which go back to the time of the famous Hungarian-developed “GO”PEN ballpoint pens, as it was at the event venue, at 15 Nádor Street, that Goy Andor experimented and further developed the world’s first ballpoint pen, which began its journey of world conquest.
