The Biennial Ceremony of Agricultural Higher Education in Mosonmagyaróvár ended with a Farmers’ Meeting

About a hundred and fifty people attended the Farmers’ Meeting which was the closing event of the The Biennial Ceremony of Agricultural Higher Education in Mosonmagyaróvár.

In his solemn speech, Nagy István, Minister of Agriculture, reminded that it was first realized in Mosonmagyaróvár that agriculture was only successful with the help of science.

The legal predecessor of the Agricultural and Food Sciences Faculty of Széchenyi István University was opened on 10 November 1818. (MTI)
