Magyar Cukor Zrt. becomes self-sufficient from gas
The Magyar Cukor Zrt. (Hungarian Sugar Co.) would provide energy to its Kaposvár-based factory with their three biogas producing equipment. The goal is to reach self-sufficiency by 2013.
In Hungary’s one and only operating sugar factory the own developed energy rationalization program was launched in 2007. The first step of this rationalization program was the construction of the so-called post-fermentor which transforms biogas from the by-product of sugar – reports vallalkozoinegyed.hu.
