A Gála Celebration began in the Derecske Orchard
A three-day Gála Dinner began on Friday at the Derecske Orchard on the occasion that this year’s first mature Gála apples from those apple trees that were planted during the spring by one thousand children were harvested – Szabó Imre, owner of the apple garden told MTI.
He said that ten thousand apple trees were planted during the spring in their 80 hectares apple garden, and one thousand students who participated in the works were also invited to attend the first Gála dinner to taste the new crops and get acquainted with the traditionally but modernly and environmental consciously produced local products.
