Tesco opines that grocery retail chains can only survive if they pay bigger attention to supplying restaurants, online selling and serving individual needs. The British retailer plans to acquire Booker Group Plc. – the biggest wholesale chain in the UK – for USD 4.6 billion. With this move Tesco will combine the food supply chain with online shopping.
