A courier takes Fórum’s VAT-proposal to the Prime Minister
The Fórum “Board for the reduction of basic foods” trade bloc, propose on the basis of the study of Ernst & Young (E&Y), to reduce the VAT of basic foods below 10 percent.
They sent their proposal on Tuesday with a courier to the Prime Minister. The proposal was also sent to the concerned ministries and parliamentary committees – the organization representatives announced on Wednesday at a press conference in Budapest.
The Fórum contains companies, professional organizations producing basic foodstuffs (meat and meat industrial, baking, milling, fruit and vegetables, milk and dairy products, poultry, sugar, coffee, cooking oil). (MTI)
