Spicy paprika, wine and peaches are among the most valuable products in the South Plain region. Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Agriculture, considers the improvement of production and quality and the promotion of their consumption to further improve sales.
The minister said that the Hungarian paprika is a Hungarikum and is a highly protected Hungarian value. The development support of the production of vegetable crops increased from the 48,900 forints of 2016 to about 86 thousand forints this year per hectare. (MTI)
