Bad weather destroying bathing-possibilities at Lake Balaton

A good number of guests have not even turned up at their previously reserved accomodations due to the bad weather conditions at Lake Balaton. Wineries, restaurants and shops, on the other hand, are closing a successful weekend.

The first school-free weekend is always a busy time at Lake Balaton, however hotels and campings  have reported a quiet time, due to the cold, rainy weather. The only expectations are hotels offering special programs. On the other hand, wineries and restaurant owners in the area are satisfied with the traffic, especially shops in Héviz have been particularly busy these days.
