Fruitveb: the rainy weather was bad for cherry
The interbranch organization explained that the cherries are sensitive to precipitation before ripening, as they can easily crack when exposed to rain. According to the summary published on their website on Friday, there are areas where half of the crop was destroyed, but the damage is smaller in the Great Plain, for example in Bács-Kiskun and Békés counties there was no loss at all.
