FruitVeB: cold weather caused serious damages in the orchards

Frost caused serious damages in the Hungarian orchards. According to the primary surveys, the cold nights of the past two days, caused even larger damages in the orchards than last year – told MTI Mártonffy Béla, president of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organisation and Product Board (FruitVeB) on Tuesday.

The President of FruitVeB announced that six regions of the country – from Zala to the Southern Great Plains – are affected.

The damages are continuously measured by professionals. They are expected to summarize the damges next week. (MTI)
