FruitVeb: high-quality melons to be produced domestically this year
According to the statement, conditions are still favorable for the ripening of melons where there has been no drought. This year, 120,000-130,000 tons may be produced in Hungary, the prolongation of the drought may worsen the prospects to a lesser extent, but there is certainly no need to fear a shortage of goods.
Harvesting is already underway this week, so the fresh melons will soon reach the supermarket chains – they wrote. (MTI)
