FruitVeb: Major frost damages can occur in the north and north-east of the country
Major frost damages are expected in the north and north-east of the country- the Vice President of the Hungarian Fruit Vine Intergroup and Product Council (FruitVeB) said on Saturday morning on M1 news channel.
According to Apáti Ferenc, in the past two months there were four or five nights when temperature dropped to minus 2 to 4.5 degrees Celsius, and this could lead to a major loss of crops in certain fruits. (MTI)
