FruitVeB: a part of this year's watermelon crop will be exported
This year's watermelon crop will be around 220-240 thousand tons. A part of it will be exported – Ledó Ferenc told M1 news channel on Sunday.
Ledó Ferenc president of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organisation (FruitVeB) expects a good harvest, so two weeks after the start of the season, around 60-70 thousand tons can be delivered primarily to Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany. (MTI)
