FruitVeB: the fruit and vegetable strategy can only be implemented with a 5 percent VAT
The president of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organization and Marketing Board (FruitVeB) told MTI on Friday in Budapest, that the fruit and vegetable sector strategy, which is under a public debate at the moment – can only be realized with a 5 percent VAT.
As Mártonffy Béla, the president of FruitVeB added, several expert believe, that black economy has the largest share in the fruit and vegetable sector. The share of the black economy in the fruit and vegetable sector is an average of 40 percent, but in case of several products it can reach even 50-60 percent – he added. (MTI)
