FruitVeB: good harvest prospects in the orchards

The condition of the orchards is favorable, because of the mild winter weather, so harvest prospects in the orchards are good – Mártonffy Béla the president of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organization told MTI on Monday.

Mártonffy Béla indicated that the development of the plants is slightly ahead of than it is usual, due to the favorable weather. The plums, peaches, and cherries are in bloom. If the weather remains favorable, it is expected that Apple will also start to blosssom. (MTI)
