Spritzer and barbecue festival at the Kopaszi-gát

The Spritzer and Barbecue Festival of Buda will be held for the first time at the Kopaszi-gát; the free event will await its visitors with wine and fruit spritzers, meat dishes and with a number programs from Friday to Sunday.

Although the Danube is flowing at the moment, the festival is not compromised, because the Kopaszi-gát (Kopaszi-dam) can be found more than a meter higher than the expected flood level – Necz István, Main Organizer told at Tuesday's press conference.

At the event, more than 100 exhibitors and producers await the visitors from almost all wine regions of Hungary and pálinka houses as well like the Szőlőpárlat- és Likőr Manufaktúra of Tokaj, the Szicsek Pálinkafőzde or the Tarpa Manufaktúra. Visitors can find homemade syrups, juices, meats products, marinades and barbecue spices also. (MTI)
