EDEKA offers herbs and salads from in-store greenhouses
German retailer Edeka has revealed plans to open greenhouses in certain stores, to offer its customers fresh and locally grown products. These allotments will produce herbs and salads that will arrive fresh in stores. Berlin-based start-up company Infarm has opened the first high-tech greenhouses at certain Edeka stores.
