Chinese purchased duty-free the most in France last year
The European countries, including France, proved to be the most popular destination for the duty free shopping of the Chinese – shows the datas of the Global Blue company providing datas in connection with shopping tourism – the China Daily newspaper writes.
According to the statistics of the Swiss-based company, Chinese spent nearly three billion euros on tax-free purchases in 2012. This is a record high, 60 percent increase compared to the datas of 2011. The company forecasts a 20-25 percent growth for this year. (MTI)
