The tomato virus also appeared in France
A tomato virus has been found on a farm in western Bretagne, the westernmost region of France – blog.syngenta.hu wrote. The French Minister of Agriculture, Didier Guillaume, who added the information, added that the virus kills the infected crop but is not dangerous to humans.
The farm was immediately closed and all plants in the greenhouse were destroyed because there is currently no cure for the disease. Germany has also succeeded in preventing the outbreak by destroying plants in many greenhouses and then treating the soil with disinfectants. (blog.syngenta.hu, Máté Endre)
