Kaufland’s online marketplace has also been launched in France and Italy
German e-commerce giant Kaufland launched its online marketplace in France in August and in Italy on 2 September, bringing the number of countries in which the platform is present to seven. Initially 2,800 French sellers joined the marketplace, with another 3,000 coming on board when it launched in Italy, bringing the total number of active sellers on the platform to more than 13,000, offering shoppers around 5 million products in more than 6,400 categories.
