The September business confidence index rose more than expected in France
According to data released on the website of the statistical office INSEE on Thursday, its confidence index rose by 92 points from 90 points in August, but is still below the long-term average of 100 points.
The industrial sector’s confidence index, particularly monitored by experts, jumped from 92 points in August to 96 points. Among other things, the services sector index improved from 93 points to 95 points, while the employment index rose from 88 points to 93 points. (MTI)
