France reclaimed the first place
Once again, France was the world's leading wine producer in 2010, after a year earlier Italy overtook it – shows the analysis of IWSR market research institute.
Although wine producing also decreased in France with 419 million compartments (one compartment is 9 liters), France can be found again in the lead. According to the analysis of IWSR; since the sixties, annual global wine consumption decreases by an average 2 percent, from year to year. Over the past five years, the pace dropped to 1.4 percent, and until the 2014 period it is expected to be 0.7 percent – reports agromonitor.hu.
