France is ready to help set up a maritime corridor to promote grain exports
France wants Ukraine’s victory in conflict with Russia and is ready to help lift the blockade of Odessa’s port in southern Ukraine so that grain shipments to Ukraine can reach the countries they need and avoid a global food crisis, with the help of the United Nations., the office of the French President announced on Friday.
“We are ready to carry out an operation that would allow safe access to the port of Odessa, ie the passage of ships despite the mining of the sea,” an adviser to President Emmanuel Macron told AFP, who also indicated that Vladimir Putin on 28 May, the Russian president gave his consent to such an operation to the French president.
