Never mind the famous attractions of its cosmopolitan capital, France’s famous reputation for gastronomy, or the fact that London and Paris are joined by a swift rail link – according to a poll conducted by flight comparison website Skyscanner, 19 per cent of British travellers rate our Gallic cousins as the most abrupt and curt of all nationalities.
