Il Patio is here
The first Il Patio restaurant in Budapest was opened by Rosinter Restaurants Holding in July. The unit located on Nagykörút and operated in combination with a Planet Sushi unit, can accommodate 125 guests. The Italian casual dining restaurant is the fifth unit of the group in Budapest, which also operates TGI Friday and a number of other brands.

New Belfrit units
Belfrit is opening two new units in September, in Nyíregyháza and the Biatorbágy outlet centre, bringing the total number of their units in Hungary to five. The assortment is based primarily on potato, but also includes sandwiches and desserts.

Fazoli’s wants to come
The Fazoli’s restaurant chain has intentions to expand in eastern Europe. They operate 280 units in 30 countries at present. According to their „Fast. Fresh. Italian.” Concept, they sell Italian pasta specialities in an American fast food system.

Hungarian success
Kalácsoda which has 11 units in Hungary is to open its first store in the south of England soon, in Pool.

Franchise Fair in Budapest again
The Third Hungarian Buybrand Show and International Franchise Exhibition will be held between 9-11. November in the HUNGEXPO exhibition area. This is the most important event of its kind in the Central-Eastern European region.
