According to Dr Anikó Gerda, a consultant at Vitafer Hungária Kft., the results are encouraging. With production growing, prices lowered by 12.6% in 2024, which was an exceptional development. Potato’s price was below HUF 200/kg in 2018, but it has risen steadily since then and is now approaching HUF 400/kg despite the price drop. //
